The CLEVER Innovation Action Pool: Joint efforts to curb biodiversity impacts from biomass trade
The CLEVER Innovation Action Pool works on new ways to make biomass trade more sustainable and less harmful to biodiversity. It looks at how public policies and private sector actions can be improved to strengthen sustainability across key value chains—such as soy, timber, wood pulp, and fishmeal—traded from Brazil and Central Africa to the EU.
